Dr.Christopher P. Marmo is a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he received clinical honors in Pediatric Optometry. Upon graduation Dr. Marmo served 3 years on active duty in the United State Air Force as Chief of the Eye Clinic at England Air Force Base in Alexandria, Louisiana.
After completing his military service, Dr. Marmo returned to his native New Jersey where he opened Bernards Eye Care Center in his hometown of Bernardsville, New Jersey. This practice served Bernardsville families and the surrounding communities and Dr. Marmo provided comprehensive eye care including routine exams, medical eye care including glaucoma and dry eye, pre- and post operative care of cataract and LASIK patients as well as contact lens services.
Tiring of the cold winter weather and crowded confines of the state, Dr. Marmo sold Bernards Eye Care in 2005 and moved west to the beautiful weather and scenery of Arizona. He is very happy to be associated with Walman Eye Center where he can utilize his skills as a clinician caring for the full spectrum of patients from children to seniors, and teaming with an excellent eye surgeon in Dr. Gerald Walman.
Dr. Marmo met his current wife Sandra here in Phoenix. They live in Laveen and are active in their local church.
